Preceptorship Teaching Project
As a part of my preceptorship, I will present a teaching project to the unit I am working on. Along with my preceptor, I chose a topic that we felt the unit would benefit from.
The goals of this presentation are that nurses will understand the need for contact precautions, the efficacy of contact precautions, and how to properly use them.
I will present a 15 minute teaching session to the nurses in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, using peer-reviewed, evidence based articles as my resources.
